Pune Warriors India vs Kings XI Punjab Scorecard

Pune Warriors India recorded their second victory by winning over Kings XI Punjab by 22 runs. As thought by PWI, they had an easy win over KXIP. Pune Warriors India lost the top two early wickets of Sourav Ganguly and Jesse Ryder very soon. But after that Marlon Samuels with 2 sixes and 4 boundaries, and Robin Uthappa with 2 sixes and 2 boundaries made the score to accelerate. After their loss, Steven Smith took the score to 166. It was Harmeet Singh, who showed some impressive bowling by taking three wickets.

When the Kings XI Punjab innings started, they lost their opening 2 wickets of Adam Gilchrist, and Paul Valthaty, who did very well in the previous season of IPL in no time. After that loss, Mandeep Singh, and Abhishek Nayar provided some resistance against the PWI bowlers. But, it was not enough, as they were taking singles most of the time and dragged score to 75 in 12.5overs. After them, the wickets started falling one after other. It was Bipul Sharma, who stood till the end by making a score of 35 in 18 balls. From the beginning it self, it looked as if it was the game of just Pune Warriors India.
