Kings XI Punjab win over Kolkata Knight Riders with 2 runs in a thrilling match. Despite the 5 wicket magic done by Sunil Narine, Kings XI Punjab stood victorious. Today Piyush Chawla broke the batting order of KKR by taking the three crucial wickets. And the last over of the innings was a nerve holding thriller over. It was Harmeet Bansal, who bowled this over and gave just 6 runs and also too a wicket, on the other hand KKR was in a need of 9 runs for winning. This gave an thrilling win of 2 runs to KXIP.

Earlier during Kings XI Punjab’s innings, Sunil Narine showed an outstanding performance by taking 5 wickets by giving just 19 runs. He did enough damage to the batting lineup of KXIP. KXIP lost two early wickets of Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh. After that Mandeep and David Hussey added 52 runs and took the score to 84/4. After this lose they lost the next 4 wickets one after the other in no time. Piyush Chawla and Harmeet Bansal added some good runs and took the score to 128, when Harmeet Bansal was out. The last batsmen Bhargav Bhatt hit a six in the last ball and allowed the score to crawl up to 134.
