It was thrilling match between Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam. 11 runs were needed in 3 runs for the Mumbai Indians to win. On 19.4 ball, Rohit Sharma hit a six, and on 19.5th ball, he took 2 runs making the score for winning score to 3. In the process of taking the second run, he was almost got run out. Then on the last ball of the innings, he hit a huge six to seize the victory for Mumbai Indians.

Rohit Sharma made an unbeaten 73runs in 50 balls with marvelous 5 sixes and 4 boundaries. Dale Steyn took two early wickets of Richard Levi and Tirumalasetti Suman. After them Ambati Rayudu and Kieron Pollard gave a good stand back to Rohit Sharma. Today’s star of the match was Rohit Sharma, who helped the MIs to conquer victory over Deccan Chargers. Deccan Chargers lost their second match too.

Earlier, during the Deccan Chargers innings, Mumbai Indians pacer Munaf Patel took two early wickets in his first 2 overs. After them Shikhar Dhawan with 4 sixes and 2 boundaries took the score to 46 before his dismissal. After him except Daniel Christian and Cameron White, non other made good contribution to score. MI’s Bowlers showed a good performance. Munaf patel made enough damage to Deccan Chargers batting line-up by taking 4 wickets. Lasith Malinga took three wickets, and Kieron Pollard took two wickets.
