Chennai Super Kings take their revenge over Pune Warriors India by beating them with 13 runs in a thrilling match. Pune Warriors India could not chase the total of 165 to record their second victory over Chennai Super Kings. CSK showed a good fielding and bowling performance along with the batting performance earlier. PWI lost the wickets of the openers Robin Uthappa and Jesse Ryder early by Kulasekara. They were 26 for 2 in 3.4 overs.

After them the skipper Ganguly showed a little resistance by scoring 24runs. They were losing wickets gradually. After Ganguly Marlon Samuels with 26runs, and Steven Smith with 23 runs showed some contribution to the score. Angelo Mathews were good with his in the final overs and at one stage it looked as if he was taking PWI towards victory. But, he clean bowled by Dwayne Bravo in the first ball of the last over. He scored the highest runs among their team mates.

Earlier, during the Chennai Super Kings innings, they were even good in their batting performance today. CSK openers Badrinath and Faf du Plessis gave a good start by contributing a 116 runs partnership to the score. After their wickets, skipper MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, and Jadeja hit some huge sixes and made the score to move up to 164.
