Zaheer Khan produced his career best spell of seven for 87, which included three wickets in four balls, as India beat Bangladesh by ten wickets on the fourth day of the second and final Test and win the series 2-0.
Bangladesh lost six wickets in 30 overs scoring only 84 in the morning session and were just one run ahead of India at lunch.
Earlier, Shahadat holed out to Amit Mishra at long-on while trying to hoist Harbhajan Singh for a boundary after the drink break, and soon the match turned on its head. From 290/3, Bangladesh lost six wickets with the addition of just 22 runs from 9.3 overs.
